所以自體脂肪隆乳在手術的時候，醫師打入脂肪的技術非常重要。我在2013年將我研發的注射技術「自體脂肪隆乳沙拉式打法」〈A Solid Injection Method to Reduce Postoperative Complications in Autologous Fat Grafting for Breast Augmentation〉在美國美容外科醫學期刊發表，因為這種自體脂肪隆乳的注射技術，可以將傳統10~16%的硬塊發生率，降到2.2%左右。可以說是目前自體脂肪隆乳硬塊率最低的注射技術。3
Our results are, however, inconsistent with the concept of water-induced thermogen- esis. Resting energy expenditure remained unchanged after drinking distilled water or a 0.9% saline solution. Drinking water that had been cooled to 3 C increased resting energy expenditure by only about 5%.
The 30% increase in energy expenditure after water drinking reported by Boschmann et al. (6) is impressive, but it is not supported by previously published studies (7–16) or the results of the current study. What could be the explanation for the apparent water-induced thermogenesis? One clue could be in the fact that Boschmann et al. (6) measured energy expenditure by whole-room indirect calorimetery, as op- posed to the ventilated hood or mouthpiece techniques that we and others (7–16) have used.

您可能誤解 「Drinking 500 ml of water increased metabolic rate by 30%. The increase occurred within 10 min and reached a maximum after 30 – 40 min. The total thermogenic response was about 100 kJ. About 40% of the thermogenic effect originated from warming the water from 22 to 37 C 」這句話的意思了。
在Boschmann 2003 這篇論文的摘要裡的這句話，意思是：「喝500 ml 的水可增加30%的代謝率，而且在喝下10 min 後就開始，30-40 min 到頂，總產熱反應大約 100 kJ。而這個熱量 100 kJ中40% 來自於身體必須將水溫從22度加熱到37度C」
雖然我不認同喝500 mL 22度C的水可以提升新陳代謝30% 那麼多，但是論文還是必須以科學角度來看，接近室溫的水喝進人體，並不需要用掉太多熱量就可以將其溫度升高到核心體溫，怎麼可能提高那麼多的新陳代謝，很顯然實驗方法有問題。
Boschmann 認為是胃部膨脹刺激交感神經，所以提高了新陳代謝。如果真是這樣，用餐或吃任何其他食物，只要將胃部撐大就可以刺激交感神經，不是嗎？況且新陳代謝提高30%的概念是什麼？想想看，70 公斤的男性，一天需要基礎代謝1680大卡，30%等於一天，光是喝下 500 mL 22度C的溫水就可以燃燒 504大卡，接近於一餐飯的熱量，您認為合理嗎？顯然違背常理。
Indeed, we found that drinking distilled water that had been cooled to 3 C slightly increased resting energy expenditure by an average of 15 kJ over 90 min. However, this is substantially lower than the calculated energy required to heat the water from 3 to 37C (495ml 34C 16830cal 70kJ), suggesting that most of the energy required for warming the water to body temperature is more likely to be met by a reduction in body heat loss, probably by the peripheral vasoconstriction that occurs after water drinking (5).
Tan et al. （2015）的 review 整理前人研究指出，500g 冰淇淋會體溫下降造成 0.8°C ；600ml 的4°C的冰水會降低體溫 0.3°C，600ml 的 -1°C 的冰漿則會降低體溫約 0.6°C。
